This area displays information about the selected character.

“Name” displays the full character name.

“Key” displays the keystroke used to type the character.

“Hex” and “Dec” display the character numbers.

This area displays a grid of all the characters in your font. You can select characters in this grid and perform operations on them by selecting various menu commands.

Hint: Hold down the shift key while clicking to extend the current selection.
